This person should have excellent data analysis and Informatica ETL architecture/design/development as well as some OBIEE development skills. The work is focused on the implementation of Oracle Business Intelligence Applications (OBIEE 10.1.3.4) as part of a Siebel CRM project.
Required Skills/Experience
>>
Excellent knowledge of Informatica 8.6.x ETL tools and mappings.
>>
Design and development of ETL workflows for creating all data warehouse tables, to support initial load, refresh and on-going update strategies (Oracle Business Intelligence Applications
>>
Good knowledge and understanding of Dimensional modeling
>>
Design and develop Datawarehouse Admin Console (DAC) schedule (Oracle Business Intelligence Applications)
>>
Work with the BI Application Developer to:
 
a.
Configure ETL process flow
 
b.
Suggest index strategies and other adjustments to optimize performance
 
c.
Tuning on detailed, base aggregate and additional aggregate fact and dimension tables
 
d.
Configure new and modify existing Informatica Workflows.
>>
Knowledge of Siebel CRM OLTP source system data model(s) is desired
 
a.
OBIEE development experience is highly desired
 
b.
Dashboard expereience is must
 
c.
Experience with Packages and Procedures
 
d.
Understanding of the Oracle Data warehouse Admin Console (DAC) Server, client configuration
 
e.
4+ years experience in Informatica/ETL/DAC/OBIEE Knowledge

Informatica Power Center 8.6.

Job/Role Description:
Mandatory Skills:
>>
Experience in command of SQL (Knowledge of DDL, DML) especially in the database administration and management area and other Oracle Tools is mandatory.
>>
Experience in Advanced PL/SQL Development experience (at least 1 project).
Desired / Preferred Skills:
 
a.
Experience in the administration of Oracle RDBMS 9i RAC & 10g RAC databases is needed. Knowledge on OracleRDBMS 8i and ORACLE RDBMS 11g is desirable
 
b.
Experience in installation of Oracle products, including compilation and relinking experience is required
 
c.
Experience in supporting ASM and Standby databases is preferred.
 
d.
Good command of SQL (Knowledge of DDL, DML) especially in the database administration and management area and otherOracle Tools is required
 
e.
Good experience in applying patches to various Oracle components is preferred.
 
f.
Sound knowledge and experience in cloning databases and migrating databases between platforms is mandatory
 
g.
Sound knowledge of Backup and Recovery using RMAN, SQL BackTrack, hot and cold backups, Dataguard, export/import is preferred. Knowledge of Enterprise backup solutions is preferred
 
h.
Sound experience in UNIX and supporting Oracle on UNIX & Windows is mandatory
 
i.
Sound Performance tuning experience, including tkprof, AWR, ADDM, StatsPack, tracing sessions, reading explain plans is mandatory
 
j.
Knowledge of Oracle Security challenges and solutions is mandatory.

The candidate should have atleast 5 years RELEVANT work experience in FMCG Industry handling General Trade (GT) Channel (GT means Wholesale, Retail , Supermarkets, Margin Frees, Grocery & Fancy Shops)
>>
Candidates from hardcore FMCGs like Jyothy Laboratories Ltd, Eveready, TTK, Godrej , Nestle, Marico, Pidilite etc will be preferred.
>>
Candidate has to have a team handling experience of at least 5 salesman directly under him.
>>
